Make A 3D Tour

I made these back in November of 2008 to allow people to get a sense of unique construction of the Church of the Nativity (now know as Nativity Church of Fargo). The architecture was designed to be stark and barren to create the feeling of being in the manager of Christ’s birth.

The church, through the years, has added had crafted stations from an artist in Chimbote Peru. The serve not only as a reminder not only of Christ’s passion but the parish’s sister parish connection to the people of Peru.

The parish also commissioned a local artist to create the crucifix and the statute of Mary and Jesus as a youth.

The project was not that complicated. I simply took 238 photos for the first and 298 for the second in the church and let the photosynth program do the work. The trick to making it work was to shift my position only a few degrees each time I took the photo. To learn more visit http://photosynth.net/create.aspx
